The therapeutic effects of Love

To begin, let's define what love is. Love is deep, tender; it is an indescribable feeling of affection and solicitude toward a person, such as that arising from kinship; it is a recognition of attractive qualities, or a sense of underlying unity.

Simply put , love is a deep affection, tender and passionate we feel towards another person . When we love someone we are attracted to him , we have positive thoughts about him, we do everything in our power to protect and take care of him. Feel loved , it is also to feel safe , to feel that we take care of ourselves , to feel wanted and feel important. It is true that every human being finds the most is love. Mother Teresa said: "There is more hunger for love and appreciation in the world than there is for bread . "

Like drugs , love is therapeutic. It helps in the healing process and keeps you healthy. Nothing heals better emotional way , biochemical , physical and mental love . Numerous studies have shown that this is true. Dr. Dean Ornish , the United States, many of these studies reported in his book Love and Survival , the Scientifi c Basis for the Healing Power of Intimacy .

Being involved in a relationship of any kind allows the body to release chemicals such as norepinephrine. This neurotransmitter ( biochemical molecule ) helps the body respond well to stress by stimulating adrenergic receptors qualified chemical , which widely found in all body cells. Another chemical released by love is dopamine , which is another neurotransmitter in the brain. It stimulates many dopamine receptors in the brain that control neuronal messages helping to modulate important activities and behaviors such as cognition, voluntary movement , sleep , mood, motivation, attention and learning .

Love also releases another chemical in the body, endorphins . This natural chemical similar to morphine and is also a neurotransmitter produced by the brain that helps to manage pain in boosting the immune system and fight stress. The effects of these chemicals , when released , lead to effective neuronal activity , improved emotions , improving the immune system and to improve the ability to manage stress. In the end, it all helps in the healing process and to maintain good health.

Thanks to all these explanations , it is not difficult to understand why a simple " let me give you a kiss " from a parent helps a child who fell off his bike , which struck his head and crying to his mom, stop crying and start smiling immediately.

When people feel loved , they feel safe and reassured in their health affected by the disease , knowing that we will take good care of them. This helps in the healing process of both psychological and biochemical manner .
In addition, a person providing care and being highly motivated by love tends to make the extra mile when providing services to its clients. These people are not only friendly towards their customers, but they are often relatively empathetic and full of compassion. An empathetic person providing care is a person who will be able to share and understand the emotions and feelings of the other; a compassionate person giving care is that , due to the deep compassion for the misfortune of another, will develop an intense desire to relieve it. The Bible repeatedly describes God the Father as the one who heals us , and Jesus Christ our Savior as our great doctor as compassionate . In Matthew 20:30-34 , we see how Jesus Christ, motivated by compassion , overthrew all protocols to focus attention on the two blind men who were punished by the crowd and to heal instantly. As Christians and as people providing care , we are called to be like him.

In conclusion , love is a positive emotion that has been scientifically proven ; it helps in healing and maintaining good health. It helps to cope with the pain amplified ant the immune system, reducing stress , improving emotions and removing depression. On the spiritual level , it is the central theme of Christianity is the nature of God and the forcequi brought Jesus to offer himself as a sacrifice for the sins of all mankind. Even in the most precarious , that we are loved brings great hope and encouragement in life situations. In truth, love is all we need to bring fullness. positive about him, we do everything in our power to protect and take care of him. Feel loved , it is also to feel safe , to feel that we take care of ourselves , to feel wanted and feel important. It is true that every human being finds the most is love. Mother Teresa said: "There is more hunger for love and appreciation in the world than there is for bread . "
